I dream every night. My brain doesn’t rest at all.

Now I begin to write down my dream right after I wake up. Some of them are pretty interesting and some are scary. I think visually expressing my dream is

A couple weeks ago, my friends and I went kayaking in La Jolla, San Diego. On the way back, I picked a lime from the tree.

At that night, I had this strange dream associated with that lime.

Here’s my dream… Somehow the lime I picked creeped into my dream made the hot air balloon turn green, and the name of the balloon is actually called “Hotlime” You could ride the balloon from one building to another which is pretty exciting. I asked my friend to go with me, but she refused…

Alice Wang is an interaction and product designer in Taipei, Taiwan.

She started out her first “office space” in Startbucks because she couldn’t afford the bills to rent a studio, then he progressed slowly, and a couple more designers joined her in about a year ago. She finally rent a studio space and started her studio practice.

The office has affordable light fixtures and cool dividers that are made of cheap styrofoam.

I like the idea of her new publication called “The Binder.” The magazine is three-hole punched and it is re-organizable as our own preferences.

The Masks of The World was developed and expanded from the cultural icon series.
The goal of this project was to sketch out specific masks to represent the culture and the different aspects of the countries. The four countries I chose were China, Italy, Namibia, and Nauru Island. The targeted audience was for tourists who wish to have a nice set of stamps and postcards for their collection or gifts to their friends and family.

The Chinese Zodiac Signs is a product that integrates product and packaging. This project was inspired by one of the most ancient and famous folk toy, Jacob’s ladder.  The fully hand made Jacob’s ladder toy was made to attract audience of any age by it’s playfulness and cascading activity. The information card of the 12 animals signs were placed on top of the toy panels. The packaging box was made to contain the toy, and the small information panels about the toy and Chinese Zodiac were on the inside and outside of the box.

The overall objective of Matthew Carter Exhibition was to design a poster series that visually connotes the meaning of the quote with abstract typography. Typographically Speaking was the name of this exhibition to help establish the cleverness design. The quote “Type is a beautiful group of letters, not a group of beautiful letters” was from the typographer Matthew Carter. The quote was repeated throughout the three squared posters based on the nine-unit grid system. I also developed a system to transition the type from regular Georgia to italic.

It is a widely known fact that organic food costs us a little extra as compared to the intensively farmed and heavily sprayed conventional food. It can always be considered as a better option as compared to the farm grown food. Here are the solutions I concluded from my research to help consumers saving money while going organic. The targeted audience for this project was mainly on the consumers who are between the ages 25-40 and would prefer cheaper prices on buying organic. The posters and information cards can been seen on the bus stops and in the supermarkets. The brochures were made to be self-mailers and were sent to the households.
